Assessment factors, not a price list

How stock, surfaces and trading windows affect retail cleaning scope

A retail cleaning assessment depends on what is actually reachable in the shop and when the shop can be released. This page names the factors that change the assessment and explains why this site publishes no amounts.

What changes the assessment for a shop

How much stock is on the floor

A fully stocked shop, a partly stocked one and an empty fit-out are different jobs. Merchandise is not moved, so stock decides which floors, shelves and counters can be reached at all. Say which of the three describes the shop today.

Which surfaces are accessible

Open floor, interior glass, counters and fitting-room surfaces can be assessed directly. A surface behind a loaded rack or under a display stays out of reach unless the shop clears it first. Listing surfaces area by area keeps the assessment to what can really be done.

Displays that stay untouched

Every display, rack or fixture that must stay exactly as it is narrows the work around it. Naming those items up front is more useful than a general instruction to clean everything, because nobody has to guess what may be moved.

The access window against trading hours

Cleaning has to fit between customer-facing trading, deliveries and stocking. A short window, or one split across several days, changes how a visit is planned. Give the trading hours and the proposed cleaning window separately.

How often the work is requested

A one-time clean and a repeating visit are assessed differently, because a repeating visit starts from a recently cleaned floor. Say which areas need attention every time and which are occasional.

Building and centre restrictions

Loading rules, parking, after-hours entry and shared areas controlled by a landlord or centre management all affect the plan. Name the role that arranges access, but never write keys or codes into a request.

Why this page names no amounts

Two shops of the same size can need very different work. One may have open floors and a quiet early-morning window; another may be packed with stock and only free for an hour between deliveries. A figure published before anyone has read the shop's details would be a guess. What this page can do is explain which details change the assessment, so the request you send answers those questions up front.

Bravo Maids reviews each request and confirms scope, access and availability with you before anything is booked. Nothing on this page is an offer, an estimate or a commitment.

Stock decides reach, not effort

It is tempting to think a busy shop simply takes longer. More often, stock changes what can be reached. A rack against a wall hides the floor and skirting behind it; a display table covers the counter beneath it. Because merchandise is not moved, cleaned or rearranged, those surfaces are either cleared by the shop beforehand or left out of the scope. The stock and display boundary builder, linked below, records that decision area by area.

Making the first request useful

Describe the shop type and how stocked it is, the areas and surfaces requested, the displays to leave untouched, the trading hours and a proposed cleaning window. Mark anything you do not know yet as unresolved instead of guessing. When it is ready, request a clean and Bravo Maids will confirm the scope with you. Questions people ask

Can I get an amount before the shop is reviewed?

This site does not publish amounts. Bravo Maids reviews each request and confirms scope, access and availability with you before anything is booked.

Does a fully stocked shop always mean more work?

Not always. Stock mainly changes which surfaces can be reached. Name what stays in place and what the shop will clear, and the assessment follows what is actually accessible.

Should I include shared mall or building areas?

Only when the landlord or centre management has given permission. Otherwise list them as excluded or unresolved so the assessment covers the areas you control.
